An important thing to know when shopping for ingredients is, sometimes the Guild sells items for less than the other merchants, but sometimes it is much higher. Also, regional merchants will only have items in stock if the city you are in is in control.
Use the Regional Conquest Map within the game to check if the city you are in is in control of the region that merchant is from. If it is not in control, don't waste your time running to them to try to buy something. Control changes every Sunday. If the beastmen are in control, forget it for the week. Find another recipe or wait a week, or try the Guild merchant or Auction House.
Prices listed for Items on this site are average prices sold by the Regional Merchants. Use this for comparison when shopping at the Guild. Sometimes the guild is higher, sometimes lower. Prices may vary based on your fame as well. Map prices don't vary.
